Hillsdale mall redevelopment environmental review
Heritage tree removal at Edgewater Isle
Utility Box Public Art Program
Funding would come from the existing art in public places fund, with stipend levels to be decided by council.
Climate Action Plan implementation and emissions tracking
The Bersford Park solar deal is expected to save the city about $450,000 over the power purchase agreement term, but most climate programs lean on grants because the general fund is strained.
Equitable access to EV charging infrastructure
Installing more public chargers will cost the city money, and staff want to keep new installations as cost-neutral as possible.
Sea level rise adaptation plan coming this fall
The plan is funded by a Caltrans grant, so no direct hit to the city's general fund for the planning work.
stormwater fee
Projects like the Marina Lagoon spot dredging ($2M) and sea level rise plan ($470,000) carry significant costs folded into future budgets.
Peninsula Pure Water Project participation
